Bible Storying for Muslim audiences

How were you called to ministry? What if you were out ploughing in a field when a strange man came to you and put his jacket on you? Well, that is what happened to Elisha. This story is about leaving everything to follow after God’s call. Is God first in your life?

This story comes from 1 Kings 19.

So he departed there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed over to him, and cast his mantle on him.
20 He left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray you, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you. He said to him, Go back again; for what have I done to you?
He took his plough and cut it up.
He then killed his oxen and cut up the meat and boiled it with the fire he made by the plough wood.
The meat from the oxen was then given out to people who were in need
Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered to him.

Turkmania

I have just completed work on this book that details how I began to work among the Turkmen.

The Turkmen are a minority group that are found throughout the Middle East. This book combines both instruction and also personal stories of my time with them.

Although, you might not be dealing with the Turkmen, the lessons in this book can help you wherever you find yourself serving.
